Community guidelines

meeterd is people who don't know each other meeting up in real life. That only works if there's a floor nobody goes below. These rules are that floor. They apply to everything you post, write or do here.

Zero tolerance

Some things we don't weigh case by case. If they show up, the content goes and so does the account.

meeterd is not a dating app

Meeting people is fine. Using meeterd to pick people up is not. Activities are activities: if you post one that is really something else, it comes down.

What you post is yours, and it's on you

Use photos you took or have the right to use. Describe the activity as it actually is: the time, the place, what it costs, who can come. If you're charging, say so up front, not at the door.

If you organise, you're responsible for what happens at your activity. If someone crosses the line, remove them and report them.

Alcohol

Plenty of activities here involve drinking, and that's fine. What isn't fine is posting an activity whose point is drinking to excess, or pressuring anyone to drink. If someone says no, it's no.

Nobody under 18 is on meeterd. If you find out someone lied about their age, report it.

Before you go

Reporting and blocking

Every activity, every page and every chat has a way to report. A person reviews reports in under 24 hours, and we never tell anyone who reported them.

Blocking is immediate and it's yours: whoever you block disappears from your home, from the lists of who's going, from your chats and from your plans. You can unblock any time from Settings → Blocked.

What we do when something breaks

Depending on what it is: we take the content down, limit the account, or close it. Serious things happen once. If a crime is involved, it goes to the relevant authority.

If you think we got it wrong with you, write to hola@meeterd.uy and we'll look again.
